Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019) was an professional ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5 1998. There are 12 WTA titles throughout her career. Among them is that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is another aspect where she has a great record. It was the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Martens. She also achieved her Sunshine Double in 2019, and won the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. This feat was only achieved by four couples participating in women's doubles. She rose from second to third on the world singles rankings on August 23rd, 2021. Her top ranking was achieved again in January 2023. As a double, she was able to propel her way to the top in February of the same year after the victory in Melbourne and becoming the 2nd tennis player from Belarus to make it in this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, played with her through the season of 2018 through the conclusion and a portion of 2020's season. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach from the month of August until September 2020. Antonio Dubrov, her fellow countryman is her coach in the years since 2020. Serena Williams is her role as a model, and she is followed by Maria Sharapova.
